Car off road[1] tried a lap wasn’t my thing cars[2] looked like sand[3] masters

Sand[3] road[1] motor[2]-cross[4] was invited by friends[5] they wanted financial support gave them 500 asked if it was enough,I felt this was a setup fortunately I protected my heart[6], I left[7] early as I didn’t enjoy this type of racing or crowd[8], I walked[9] to a large parking area getting back[10] to our car

Returning to the past; something is behind you, over and done; going backwards; backsliding; hidden.
Someone turns his/her back on you = an attempt to ignore or dismiss you; betrayal.
