Welcome to Journaly (“Journaly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a service of PKV Ministries. By creating an account or using Journaly, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. The Service
Journaly lets you record your dreams and visions in a private journal and automatically cross-references what you write against a biblical dream dictionary. Journaly is provided free of charge.
Journaly is a study and reflection tool, not a substitute for pastoral counseling, medical advice, or professional mental health care. Interpretations shown are drawn from a symbolic reference dictionary and are not a personal prophetic word — always test what you read against Scripture and in prayer.
2. Your Account
You must provide an accurate email address to register. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us (see Section 7).
3. Your Content
Your dream and vision entries belong to you. We do not read, sell, or share the private content of your journal entries with third parties. We store them so you can access your own journal across sessions, and so the site can match your entries against the dictionary to show you relevant symbols.
4. Information We Collect and How We Use It
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address, and any content you choose to save in your journal or personal terms list.
We use this information to:
- operate your account and journal (letting you log in, save entries, and see your dictionary matches);
- send you service-related emails — password resets, account notices, and similar operational messages;
- send you communications from PKV Ministries, including updates about Journaly itself (new features, site changes), other free resources we make available (such as our books), and occasional ministry messages consistent with the purpose of this site.
You can opt out of ministry/update emails at any time. Every such email will include a way to unsubscribe, or you may email us directly at [email protected] to be removed. Opting out of these emails does not affect your ability to use your account — you will still receive essential account/service notices (e.g. password resets).
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share your email address with anyone outside PKV Ministries for marketing purposes.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your information is stored on secured servers with reasonable technical and organizational measures in place to protect it. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
6. Your Rights
You may, at any time:
- request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- ask us to delete your account and associated data.

8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as Journaly grows. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Journaly after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
